Ok, here is a picture of my blocks. I constructed them on 2 different days and I don't remember how or why I got the fabric wrong but I used El's technique where you make an X in the center then sew down the left side to the middle the go over to the right side of the bottom portion of the X. Then repeate with the other line. Cut them apart and you have 4 1/2 square triangles all going the same way. Apparently, I sewed on the wrong side of 2 of the fabric sandwiches, because 2 of the blocks are different. I didn't have enough fabric to remake them so I guess whoever gets them will have a very unique quilt.

Here are my 4 blocks. They went in the mail this morning. And Jo you're not the only one who got the blocks done the wrong way. I did too. I kept trying to figure out why they didn't look right, and discovered I'd sewed on the wrong side. But I had plenty of left overs so I re-did them. But yours looks great so I wouldn't worry about them. Its like you said; someone will have a unique quilt.

Hi,all. I think I'll give this one a try. Plan on 2 from me. I got some fabric last night - most of my stash is Thimbleberries style, Kaffee Fassett, or patriotic. I know, a crazy combination! Will plan to do them first of the week. Heading out to see my folks for Father's Day. They're both 80 and I'm sooo fortunate to have them.
Oh, yes, I will need the address! Thanks! Deb
