Jan, your block went out yesterday( March 3) and hopefully will get there before your birthday. If I do say so myself, the block and the colors you picked and the fabrics I used turned out stunning. My hubby even made comments on it unsolicited. I wish you a very happy Birthday... its the same day as my sisters birthday!!

Eeck! It's been so wild at work, I've hardly had time to look at posts let alone quilt and now it's March 5th and I've got a block due on the 8th! I don't think I have the right colors, but I will get up and look tonight. I don't dare start cuttign or sewing-- too exhausted, but I will get the block done this weekend and into the mail.

I rec'd my block today from Beth Street and it is really pretty. These blocks that are coming just confirm my appreciation for these colors together.

Well, since it's March and I'm one of the March girls, I best start posting here. (Just so you know, I did pm these 3 wonderful people and let them know that I received the blocks).

I got 2 surprise blocks from Evie (hostess gifts for the houses swap) and 1 surprise block from Bethstreet (she was my secret santa and secret valentine). The are just delightful.

And I got my block from Sewcarolyn--you remember maybe from the houses swap--that this block was being very noisy and Sewcarolyn had told the houses to keep their doors and windows closed on the trip all the way here to PA. Well, they somehow bribed the clown block and they all had a peaceful trip here. The block is so bright and colorful, I see what she meant.

I have the layout planned for my quilt and I just found yesterday a perfect fabric for the sides and corners. I am so excited and I have two weeks to go until my birthday!
