"ca" is an abbreviation for "circa" which means about. Sometimes used relative to time frames, such as: ca 1896. On the other hand, since this is a Norwegian it could be something entirely different.

Count me in, Sarah. I seem to have fabrics on hand that will do for this project, so I can afford it. Money's getting tighter all the time on my limited income.

I also had question on the "x 1/3" etc. Will wait for answer to post.

I believe what we need to cut are the squares, rectangles, etc stated in the measurements. The 1/3 yd x 1/8 width is how much fabric you will need to cut the size piece needed. If we ignore that part and just cut the needed pieces I think we will be fine. I have some good friends who are Norwegian and their English translation gets a little out of wack sometimes.
This is meant to be made from scraps actually.

OOOOHHHHH I have a whole tub of Christmas fabrics. Is it too late to join? I am getting the tub out as we speak, just need to move a few UFO's out of the way to make room LOL. After all, what would a quilter be without a few UFO's lying around? If I finish them first, I won't have any left to worry about.

Agree with We about just cutting the pieces needed as described.

This will be fun.

Sarah -

I'm still confused about the 1/3 x ?, but count me in. I think if I have 1/3 of each color, I'll be fine.

Jan

PS - and, we are thinking Christmas, right?
