I was so touched when I read Pam's PM! You gals are the greatest, and know that you will be acknowledged for this!

I'm planning on working on quilts to take over to New Hartford, where they had a tornado that killed 2 in their town, and then as things were just starting to settle down, the town got flooded, and those that didn't loose everything in the tornado (about half the town) lost everything that they couldn't take to the water, which in the last pictures I saw was up to the roof on some houses.

God Bless you all!

I've got the blocks sorted and prepared for mailing. I'm going to do my best to get to the post office tomorrow morning.

The blocks went in the mail yesterday morning. My guess is those of you in the States will have your blocks by Wednesday at the latest. I think they said 10 - 14 days for Canada and Austraila.

As for the extra blocks, I combined them with Wendy's, Abbgail's and mine and there are enough blocks for 3 twin size quilts with one block left over. So, after the PO, I swung by Jo-Ann's and picked up fabric for sashing and border for 2 of the quilts. One will be a little girl's quilt, as I've pulled all the pick and lavendar blocks together. I'm going to sash them w/a light gray and then add a pink border from my stash. The 2nd quilt I pulled all the brown blocks and those with a beige background. For this quilt I have a pretty beige for the sashing and a nice chocolate brown for the border. I haven't figured out the 3rd quilt. I hope to have the quilt tops on the way to Cindy by the end of the week.

Oh! Thank you Pam! I'll be on the look-out to receive them. And again, thank you for having taken over the swap! :-)

I'm sure the 3 twin size quilts will be gorgeous!

Thanks Pam!
I got my blocks on Monday - but haven't had a chance to post yet.
They're all great - it's neat to see all the creative ideas & patterns.
Thanks everyone - what a fun swap.
