Sue has been a bit tired but I think tomorrow I'll try to take her up to Lake Ontario. I'm sure she'll love it there. :)

Here is Sue and I on the shore of Lake Ontario. The Lake was pretty calm today despite the rain. It's been a bad weather week in NY but the weekend is supposed to be sunny. It was so hard to pick places to visit, there are so many to choose from in this area. The apple and peach orchards, the Erie Canel is literally just down the road. Travel a bit and there is the Lilac Festival, Lake Erie and Niagara Falls, and Arcade and Attica train station. But since I want to get Sue back on the road tomorrow, we'll leave it at the Holley Falls and Lake Ontario. I hope she enjoyed her stay with me. I have a feeling she'll be pretty tired when she gets to her next stop. :)

Hi all - so Sew is in the northeast. She'll be coming to see me soon. Its so nice to see all of you, I can now put a face with the names. I do hope some of you will sign up for Sarah's Photo block exchange, then I'll have your pictures to remember who I am speaking with.

Sue is on her way again! This time she is going even further east, and more then just a bit south. No more clues but I'm sure she will be very tired and anxious to get out of her padded envelope when she arrives at her destination.

I am catching up here and see you left personal info on the site. You may want to edit your post and take it out. If the PM is working again you can send it to Iwagal.

Lee, Wow it sure looks like Sue had a great time with you! Lake Ontario can be a bit cold this time of the year. Glad she and you are dressed warm. It looks like all the ice is melted! Our son went to College up there right on the lake!

QWM, The snow has been gone for quite a while but the last week or so has been pretty cold. It's usually in the 70's by this time of year but we've been in the 50's. Makes for pretty chilly mornings. Where did your DS go to college?

Hi Lee,
Our DS went to SUNY Oswego. I remember going there in the Winter and the ice on the lake was thick. In the spring it had broken up and was up on shore. HUGE chunks of ice. His dorm was right on the water front. BURRR don't know how he could stand it. Even stayed a few extra years to get his Masters degree. Guess he was stronger than we thought as he joined the Marines! After Oswego I guess Paris Island was a piece of cake. :-0. Oh well, that was many years ago. He is now a reservist and working for NY State.
We on the other hand decided to get away from the cold and snow. Miss our son, but we love Florida especially in the Winter!

Hugs, Kathy
