I am running a little late on my blocks, but should be done by early next week. I will be leaving for Houston on Friday and if I can get all my blocks cut out I will take them with me and finish in the hotel. I am doing the Texas Rose block and here is a sample:

CindyB, just to let you know, I will be a day or two late mailing out my blocks. I have pretty much "hit the wall" and am exhausted this morning. Don't know if I can make it to the post office today, but the blocks will go out to you by Monday at the absolute latest. Don't worry; I don't feel guilty! I am just in "self-preservation" mode today and am revising plans to preserve my sanity.

I think October 2007 will go down in my history as one of the most bizarre months of my life...

Carole - not a problem here!!!

I will be glad to wake up tomorrow - October will be OVER!!! It's been the month from hell for me, too!

Looks like DH will also need more back surgery (before the next knee replacement), but we don't know any specifics yet.

Oh Cindy, I'm sorry to hear about DH. I hope things turn around for him, and you real soon.

Carole, self preservation is definately what you need. All of you have been through more trama than you realize. ((hugs))

Carole, I'm sorry - didn't even mention that - YES, you all out there have been through worse than we can imagine!!

There are a couple of people that have pm'd me and are going to be delayed a little on their blocks, it's no problemo (guess what movie has been on tv lately!!??)

Cindy ~ ITS NOVEMBER!!!! New month for some new blessings. Thank you so much for all you are doing for this swap. I must say I too am happy for November to arrive. Chat soon, off to work now and when I get home tonight, the house will be empty and I get to sew all evening if I want to.......and I want to!!!

Carol, we are all just glad that you are okay and all our other friends down there are okay. We can wait. You certainly do need to be taking care of yourselves.
