Doesnt anyone besides a couple of us wonder why we havent gotten our blocks???? DJ, I have seen you adding follow ups and updates on others, but this one is going un answered. Whats going on????

Ladies, just a reminder I don't have internet yet so I can't post on the weekends. I am in no way trying to ignore any of you. I went to a hotel this weekend with just my machine and PJs for a break. I overslept and woke up at 12:15 and the PO closes at 12:00. I guess not sleeping well for 3 months has just caught up with me. I have tried very hard to wait on those whose blocks were late and mail them out as soon as I get them. I have been in swaps where I did not receive the blocks back for 3 or 4 months, I will not let this happen (also, I space the swaps 2 to 3 weeks apart so that the sorting and mailing back don't run into each other. However, if someone is late, it throws off the whole sorting/mailing back procedure.) Not having DH at home to receive and mail is causing a little more challenge than I imagined. Because I am not home during the day, at an expense to me, I got a PO box so that I could keep your swap blocks safe, I did not want the mailman leaving them at the front door. Also you can not mail priority mail in the neighborhood mail box, so I have to go into the PO to mail. In addition, I do this also because I have on numerous occasions had to add postage to the envelope so that the package is not returned to me. I work from 9:00-5:30 Monday-Friday, the PO is closed before I come into work and closed when I get home. Caroline, I did see all 4 of your PMs and just saw the 3 postings here this morning, I will see which day this week I can take a half day off and go to the PO to mail the blocks. I was really upset with myself for oversleeping Saturday - I really should have asked for a wake-up call but I normally wake up at 7:00 with no alarm. Once again I am sorry it is taking just a little longer than normal for the mail back.

I GOT MY BLOCKS TODAY!! Ladies they are lovely. I am sooo excited to get these blocks and get them sewed into a quilt---love the 30's.

Thanks DJ, I enjoyed making the butterflies and watching this quilt come together.

Woohoo! Blocks are coming in... of course it will be interesting to see if my poor blocks get forwarded to my new address... it has been so long and I moved... I don't know if DJ got my PM about changing it... I ay have to kiss these and my CW blocks goodbye! Oh well! I am glad your guys are coming in!
