well my blocks are done... I need to go get zip lock bags after work tomorrow and make tags

I am so not a pro appliquer.... infact other than the heart block I made for Sue's quilt this is my first real stab at applique... there are flaws but I gave it my best shot.... and I won't be hurt if you decide not to use them.....

Infact, I am thinking I may make a table runner, place mats and pot holders / hot pads with mine when they get back to me... hmmmm, just a thought.

Buttercup... you are doing a great job and I am sure everyone loves the flexibility in the blocks... just me coming in late I did not want to hurt anyone else's feelings by doing a similar block... and as Carolyn and some of the other gals know I am a bit OCD... hahaha!

I do think I will try and do a combo of blocks... those are new patterns I just bought for this swap... I also bought a banana split which may be too much work but someone may get one of those and an ice cream cone... that way if I get bored making one block I can move onto a new one...

Chriss and Jeanne... Your blocks will be wonderful... since they are coming from you! Don't stress! I am so excited to be in a swap with you guys and will love having your blocks in my quilt! I am sooooooooooooo happy I squeaked in at the last minute!

Chriss - Don't stress over your blocks - they are great!! I have a friend who is a nationally known quilter and she always tells us that there is no reason to worry over quilting - no quilt police will show up at your door and you have a story to go with your quilt to pass down to generations!! I am looking forward to assembling this quilt - now if I can just get all of mine finished - I was aiming to announce that I was the first - but you beat me!!LOL

Congrats on finishing. I still have more cookies to bake, frost and decorate!
