Caroline,

I used the online mosaic maker at http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/mosaic.ph ... mosaic.php. First I set up a Flickr account and uploaded the inidvidual images, then used those images in the mosaic. It's neat because you can make the mosaic as large or small as you want-- choosing the number of colums and rows. After you complete it, you can save the mosaic as a jpg.

Thanks for showing us a preview of the quilt. I haven't cut out my second block yet. Looks like we need more red.

The Grandmother's fan blocks will have some red in them. I used a white muslin for the background of the Old Maid's puzzle and will do the same for the fan blocks. The blocks are looking great!! (Denise)
