Please add me to the list.
To me flannel is 100% cotton & brushed is the light weight flannel that has nylon in it (fuzzy on one side & knit on other) and it does not fray.
Turning twenty patterns are everywhere now. QIAD has 3 of them for 10 bucks each. Just put 'turning twenty' in the search line and they will pop up.
I took the first book & cut all the blocks in half and made a baby quilt with the pattern. It turned out really cute with bright colors. :) S

Oh, V8 moment, that makes sense! Real flannel does NOT have nap, brushed does - duh to me!

Thanks for all the help on the "brushed" vs. flannel.
The Turning Twenty is easy and makes an awesome cozy flannel quilt for cuddling!! It's that time of year here in NY!!

Becky, Just received your PM. It is funny how small this world is. My husband grew up in T-burg, NY. :) S

I've been looking at fabric, fabric, fabric. Did the Mall Crawl and couldn't resist signing up for lots of "notices" from the shops. So almost every day I get something from some shop. I have noticed that many of the shops don't seem to have much in flannel. I am going to my lqs here in my town and see what they have and I am really itching to wait to go to my really favorite shop that has oodles of fabrics. I'm taking a class in a couple weeks there, so I can get it right away. Really excited about this swap, it's the first one "I've been in.
Come on in several more people! What do we need now, about 6?
