I've been out of town, and haven't started these blocks yet. It's snowing here today though, so maybe I'll find some time to work on them.
Tina, it's not a mistake, it's a "design decision ". 😃 besides, it looks just as nice that way as the other. I wouldn't change it either.

Thanks! The fabric has many pastoral scenes in it and I have wanted to use it many times, but it just didn't fit. Glad it was saved for this project.

Anyone having trouble with the emancipation block? Tried to tweak it when it looked like about 7.5 instead of 6.5. I will lose a couple of points when putting it together. I wish she would give us measurements of each unit. I so appreciate El for doing that. I need to take the time and figure it myself- not always accurate though.

I finished my blocks! I used paper piecing for the Emancipation block.

2nd try..UGH!..was happy with it until I needed to put on final row..then I finagled it the best I could...my camera :)is taking awful pics. Will try to get better ones in the future..D2..Emancipation...
