Does anyone know if you can use Eleanor's Flying Geese ruler to make the Sawtooth Star and if so which size to use? Thanks....
Susie
Thought of another question....when you paper piece do you leave that paper in until you sew the whole block together???
Sorry I have so many questions but I sure am having fun!

I finally got going. I just cut out the Providence block. Oh my goodness there are a lot of little pieces to sew together. Lori

Susie I left my paper on until all was done then removed it. That is what the video showed to do that was posted in the first open post for this sew along. Its a good video to watch if never done PP.

Susie, if you have a template that squares up to 2" x 3.5" it should be fine.

My week 2 blocks are done!
It was a nice day to sew, my momma loved to sew, she died 10 weeks ago today. I have had a hard time sewing without her on the phone with me,she always wanted to know what I was working on. I put on some of her favorite music and thought how proud she'd be that I am finally using up some of the scraps

Oh Cori my condolences on the loss of your Mother. How wonderful though that she lives on through your quilting. Love your blocks.

Ok I feel like a dunce but I can not get the center square in a square in the saw tooth star to work out. I guess I'm too tired to be doing this tonight. I have the Chinese coin done. I wanted to get them done tonight. I guess I'll go back to try three!
