Mary - I finally got the picture up top of the block I made to help you with your blocks and anyone else. Hope it helps. Glad you are not giving up!!!!
*******

Oh Mary - Bless your heart your are trying so hard to get these right and I sew LOVE YOU FOR IT ... Almost got them right ... but alas do not feel discouraged ... here is what I would like you to do ... Have a glass of wine to relax. Then have a cup of coffee to become clearheaded from the wine :) :)

Take your top left corner block and turn it 1/4 to the left to match the Top Left Corner Block in the sample picture.
Mark this block "WOOHOO!!!!!"
Next find ALL the blocks that match this WOOHOO block.
On the ones that do not match it find the 4-patches that are going the wrong way and put a pin in them.
Unsew JUST these pinned 4-patches and turn them according to the WOOHOO pile block.
Resew

If you are frustrated and would like a friend's help please send me the bottle of wine and ALL 8(?) of the blocks you have made and I would be very grateful you asked for my help :) :) After all what are friends for ... right?
HUGE HUGE HUGS!!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Ok I am in on this one also. I have a 3day weekend this week and after the funeral tomorrow I am doing nothing but sewing the rest of the time.

I think I can do this one. It does not look that hard and I have some very pretty fall fabrics to use up.

Welcome back Vivian - Glad that you will join us again.
This is an easy block BUT you have to watch the directions of the 4-patch blocks.
LOL - I even had to fix the direction of one of my blocks and I even laid them out first. Silly me!!!
