DH took my SP gift with him to work today. He will take a walk at noon to the nearby post office and mail it off to a special somebody who shares her life with a beautiful cat! So, all you kitty mamas, heads up!!

I put it in the mail today. Forgot yesterday was Veterans' Day. It has to cross the country to get to my SP. The maillady claims it will be there in three days. So, get a look out for it.

This has been such fun. it was my first time doing this. I am looking forward to doing it again in Jan when we start again. Thank you dsf618 for hosting this. I enjoyed this so much.

I rec'd my SP gift today from Pat, aka, Grannysparlor! Thank you, Pat. I love my little Santa ornament. And the Texas souvinier thimble will have a place of honor of my Shelf of Special Things. I will enjoy the herb tea today as I sew. The Celestial Seasonings is only a few blocks from my sister's house in colorado. It's a great place! There was also a package of pretty thank-you notes and two lovely fat quarters. The postcard of a classic Texan scene was nice and I really enjoyed your note telling me more about yourself.

DH confirmed that he mailed my Nov SP gift yesterday. So - maybe it will arrive by Saturday?? If not, surely by Monday. Mary z

My son and his girlfriend came by today...and I was wondering why they were coming here 30 miles away from their house... well it is because Ashley, quilt4lovedones had me as her secret pal... I got some really cool fabric... polka dots, plaids and a really neat panel with an American flag on it... it will make a cool wall hanging for my cubicle at work... I also received a cookbook with recipes from around the world.. I am in Asia now and will be reading all the recipes from all the countries... and a g-cert for some Sees candy...

Ashley is really a sweetie pie.... she has become a treasured member of this family... and it was fun to be here secret pal....
