Ladies I really do believe that all your prayers are helping....today I was told that Cheyanne slightly opened her left eyelid and moved her right hand a bit. Now that may not seem alot but what I was told is that this was all done without a command - like someone speaking to her - and the better part is that is opposite sides of the body so it should mean that both sides of the brain could be working. Although told not to get our hopes up I truly believe that the power of prayer is working. This all may be a slow "baby steps" time line but one of faith and hope none the less. If I could ask just one more time for all of you to lift up a few more prayers. It would mean so much to this family. God Bless you all for your large hearts and angel wings.

Redsaltbox and dorseth. Thank you your blocks are beautiful. I received them today Saturday - thank you ladies from the bottom of our hearts - we are so humbled by the response from all of you.

I went to the LQS today she has offered to let us use her classroom one day to put all the blocks together - no charge for the use of the room. She is also still willing to quilt them at a very big discount.

Today was the day Lexie was to go to Build-a-Bear with her Aunt Grace, in all we received $125.00 in donations so I am sure she is having fun and making a bear for Cheyanne as well. Waiting patiently for an update today on Cheyanne. Will post if I get one.

Update on Cheyanne - over the weekend she contacted meningitis (sp) - she has had no other movements, she is still in the coma and no one really knows when the drs. might start to bring her out of it. It was also comfirmed that besides the seizures she suffered 2 strokes. Right now it appears she is holding her own. Little Sister Lexie did get a little break and went to the build-a-bear store but refused to make a bear for herself - she only wanted to build a bunny for Cheyanne to give to her when she wakes up. Cheyanne's Mom is trying very hard to keep an upbeat attitude and her hopes are staying positive. That's about all I know today.

I received packages today for this family that needs so much comfort and have PM'd each of you so that you know your "care packages" have been received.

God Bless you all

Update - Cheyanne was suppose to have a Trach tube and a Gastro tube inserted on Tuesday but she had started to run a fever so the tubes were not inserted. It appears as though she is trying to take breaths on her own. This little one is going through some tough times. Again Ladies thank you for your prayers and your generous hearts in helping to make quilts for this family. Hoping to hear some better news today.

I mailed some quilt square today from Canada. They should take about 1 week as they are sent airmail rather than surface. Hope that today's news is positive. The quilts are a wonderful idea. You and your quilters are caring angels.
