Dear (Secret) Santa,
In case you're having difficulty selecting what to bring me, here's some help. P.S. I've been REALLY, REALLY good this years. I know your budget is small and crunched, so I won't list the "biggies".

1. Would love to have: I love rulers, have lots, but would love 2 1/2 inch and 4 1/2 inch square or 2 1/2 stripper ruler, patterns, all things fabric, charms, noodles, FQ .... don't mind stash or used

2. Books or authors I like to read: Current best sellers, "Chick Lit" but no romance, books set in Middle East

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: Knitting , sewing clothes, weaving, reading

4. My favorite sport(s) and teams: Not into sports

5. My favorite type of music: Dire Straits, Cowboy Junkies

6. My favorite singers: Cowboy Junkies

7. My favorite TV show(s): All things Law and Order, The Office, My Name is Earl, Project Runway, Top Design

8. When I'm bored, I: I never get bored, I have reading and knitting and sewing, how could I be bored

9. I would love to visit/travel to: Any place with mountains

10. Miscellaneous:I love to knit socks, also collect unusual socks

7. My favorite TV show(s): Dancing with the stars, quilting shows… I don’t watch tv very often.

8. When I'm bored, I: I have no time to get bored.

9. I would love to visit/travel to: I would love to travel through Canada, the U.S.A, Australia and Europe to meet in person all my quilting friends, sisters, brothers!!!

1. Would love to have: What I would really like are the things we can only dream of: my one constant in life is peace. So, if we are talking material things: Material! Gadgets for sewing and quilting like small rulers and thread and small scissors (left-handed) and pins and such. I am satisfied with the sewing machines I have, need some extra brainpower on hooking the embroidery machine to the computer! I keep asking for brains in stores and they are always fresh out.

2. Books or authors I like to read: I will read anything including the cherrios box! Mysteries and quilting novels are my current faves.

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: Gardening, reading, crochet, embroidery, sewing anything, home dec, friends.

4. My favorite sport(s) and teams: I may live in sw Idaho, a Boise girl all my life until last January, but I am not a Boise State fan, we are University of Idaho fans (put my DH through 3 years of school)

5. My favorite type of music: 50's, 60's, 70's rock n roll! Also like a lot of the big band stuff

6. My favorite singers: I can't really say I have favorites, I like to be able to understand the lyrics though.

7. My favorite TV show(s): ER, but not for long!, been watching Days of our Lives since the day it started, lots of talk on Fox and the radio.

8. When I'm bored, I: like to watch nature, and be at peace. I try to do inspirational things (to me).

9. I would love to visit/travel to: My DH and I want to travel to all 50 states in retirement, don't know that will happen now with all the economic things going on. We love to go to the beach in San Diego

10. Miscellaneous: I am a homebody for sure, that is where I do my best thinking. To some extent I am limited in what I can do physically because of my neck and replcement knees, although I am able to do so much more than before those 3 surgeries. Just have to think ahead and plan.

Would love to have: quilt labels; charms or fat quarters or noodles in blues, greens, golden yellows, and neutrals (nothing wild, and ‘homemade’ is fine); pinking blade for my rotary cutter; any triangle rulers; easy patterns; quilting thread; Accu-Cut machine for fabric with dies (like that one will ever happen)

2. Books or authors I like to read: trivia; general craft books (new and used)

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: Cub Scouting; scrapbooking (well, collecting supplies to do it someday); playing a computer game called “Snood;” rubber stamping; collecting postage stamps

4. My favorite sport(s) and teams: not a big sports fan, but I’d rather watch football than baseball (there’s more action); enjoy bowling or playing miniature golf

5. My favorite type of music: soft rock from the 70’s thru now; classical; some country

6. My favorite singers: Barry Manilow, Chicago, Lionel Richie

7. My favorite TV show(s): Eli Stone, Chuck, Monk, Psych, American Idol (most years)

8. When I'm bored, I: watch TV or DVDs (movies or old TV shows); nap

9. I would love to visit/travel to: Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Alaska, Hawaii. (I told my husband that I thought it would be fun to take a trip across country and visit all the Walmarts we passed. He disagreed.)

10. Miscellaneous: I like chocolate, candy corn, cute notecards, postcards, clean jokes (especially corny ones to share with Cub Scouts), chickens and roosters, cows, bunnies, carousel horses, Christmas music, and Christmas tree ornaments. I collect small nativity sets, snowmen, and tiny clocks that look like something else (for example, a rocking chair with a clock as the back of the seat). And I really like surprises!
