Finished my blocks tonight......here's a look. I chose the mini-bowtie block from quilterscache. The bowtie was the first quilt that I made & finished.

Mequilter, love the colors. What? You're finished? !!!!!

I thought today I'd get more done but things got in the way. Hope I can get more done tomorrow.

Those are really nice, me! You did a great job on them, too!

Are we making 20 blocks or 22 since more then 20 people signed up?

Wow Me, those look great!

Here's what Cindy said about the blocks:

"The more the merrier on this one - everyone will make 20 blocks, and receive 20 back!"

I've got my flying geese almost finished. All I have to do is use the ruler on them and square them up. 80 geese in all! Then I get to cut the center blocks and put them together. I'm doing the Cyclone block that's a free pattern on this site.

Wow, Evie. I sure can't complain about haveing to square up only 60 HSTs.
Geese or HST, you and CarolJ have more than mine. Whew! Glad I picked the Tn. block.

Got 3 more done today, nine done, 11 to go....almost half done. : )

Well, I've got my 80 geese done. They are 4 X 8. Now I need to find a center fabric that I like. The fabric that I bought just looks yucky! You know what this means don't you? Yeap, another trip to the LQS! A quilter's got to do what a quilter's got to do. :^)

What I might do is "audition" several fabrics on here and take a poll.

I am still waiting for my fabric to arrive. I will have to do a trial block to make sure it is not going to take me too long so that I can get done in time for the send out date. Hopefully my fabric will be here today or tomorrow so I can get started.

Monday Update

Have 4 blocks left to go! Took a couple pictures yesterday and will post later. This morning I have to get ready to work late shift 1-9 (and I SO don't want to go to work!) I want to get them done so badly, so that I can go on the next project. I'm trying to hard to stay focused on one thing at a time, but it's really hard, when I have beautiful fabric all over the place. I want to play with it all!

Have a great day everybody
