CaroleJ, I know what you mean about squaring up the hst(s). I need 6 for each block, so have been squaring 6 and making a block. Five done, fifteen to go!

Just finished up #13 and I'm stopping for the night to uncross my eyes. Ran out of fabric so I forced myself to go shopping for more. (Believe me, there's plenty in my stash, but "needed" new stuff.) I'll finish them up tomorrow, everything's cut & ready to sew.

Sunsup, yep, I just HAD to pick a block with eight half-square triangles in each one...gack!! I will do all the squaring up in one or two sessions to get it over with--! Laura Ingalls Wilder taught herself how to make hand-bound buttonholes quickly because she hated to do them; I feel the same way about squaring up multiple little pieces!

What the h*** was I thinking--?!

Spend some time squaring up my little pieces yesterday morning.

Thank goodness for that Half-Square Triangle ruler! Oh my gosh, it is completely saving my sanity!

Mary - what do you think about getting together for a weekend and just QUILTING???!!!! LOL!!!!

Can you just imagine us in a hotel room somewhere, fighting over the one round table that goes jumping across the room to the tune of the sewing machine!!!! LOL!!

CaroleJ, boy howdy! Without that ruler I'd be lost. Got some more squared up today and another block made. Tomorrow's not too busy; I may be able to make a few more.

Okay, okay, so I changed my mind! I squared up a bunch of HSTs yesterday, until I was sick of looking at them! So I put together another block...

Two down, eighteen to go...eeeeeeeee.....

Okay, are we doing 20 or 21 to send? I see we have 22 people signed up, that includes me so I am not sure how many to make. One more is no big deal I just want to make sure I make the correct amount.

I haven't even started yet as I am waiting for my fabric to arrive. I thought I had the right colors but I did not like the combinations when put together. I ordered some fabric last week and I hope it will be here soon.

I got 1 block made to see how it looked and if it was the right size.
I spent two hours on thursday cutting out the rest of the pieces. So, is it 20 blocks?
