Oh bummer denise, we do need to remember that as far as the mail is concerned you are a world away. There is a shop I mail order from in Canada and it can take a couple of weeks for things to get here.

Well Ladies we have had our first and Lord willing our only misshap of the year ... I just received a message from Tina today and I could tell she was really upset and heartbroken. I am amazed at some of the packages that have been delivered to me over the years. So please be careful in how you send them. HUGE HUGE HUGS sent to you Tina. We are a great group and totally understand that these kind of things do happen. Thanks so much for making another block so quickly for Denise.

****** Hello - I got some horrible news yesterday. My package I sent to Canada was brought back to me absolutely ruined. Its been wet and I mean like someone threw it in the river. The envelope is torn. Even through I put the block in a plastic baggie I did cut a tiny corner off so it would let the air out of it so it would lay flat, I would have never thought water could get in it, but it did and the fat quarter has bleed over everything. All they could tell me is it was damaged in a post office when the pipes there burst, and they were sorry. I will make another block today and send it priority mail. I am so sorry.. The way stuff is handled at the post office any more no wonder they are going under. ***********

You ALL did an FABulous job making your Pal feel special. It was a great month other than this misshap. I am so thrilled that you got so excited over this idea and that you embraced it with all your creativity. Can't wait to see what March will bring.

I will post sign-ups later this month and names will go out on March 1st so be thinking about which block you might like to make.

Tina, I am so sorry your block got ruined... but it does happen sometimes.. don't beat your self up...

and you all see, Velda sent me that amazing disappearing pinwheel.. it is laying on my sewing table so that I see it every time I go by my sewing room.. I may just try to make it this weekend... I so so love it... thanks again Velda...

Oh my goodness I just read what happened. Sad but just think you will be the only one to get one in Feb and when you sign up for March your wait wont be as long:)) The pipes burst thats awful you think they would ship this next one for free because of the mess they made out of the first one:) I would at least ask. Tina and Denise hugs and hopes the mailman is nice second time round.

Oh, no!!! I'm so sorry that this happened!!! We all try to do our best, and sometimes things are just not under our control.... but don't you just want to shake the USPS???

Must have been during that really cold weather....think of all the blocks we've sent and packages, and I'm not surprised it doesn't happen more (although I had a priority package take 2 weeks in January...)
