I'm afraid I have to pull out of this one.

I am very sorry if I'm letting anyone down by doing so.

I'm still in this swap, too.

I'll just keep working on the blocks and then send them to DJ when she gives the "go ahead".

I think even if some drop out those of us who have finished should send them to DJ by the due date - 10/30.
We may not get a quilt, but even a wall hanging of places we don't call home will be nice.
I am still excited about the project.

I am not sure what DJ's status on the forum is now but I know many have put a lot of time and work and money into this swap already! I personally have not heard from her... I am almost done with mine also... I would really like to do this swap still... and would love to have a quilt representing my forum sisters! If DJ is not able to follow through on this one I would be happy to step up and host this one... not trying to step on anyone or hurt anyone I just really would hate to see this one slip away... especially after many of us have worked on it already... I am a stay at home mom and the blocks would come to my house... not a PO box and I homeschool so I am home all day! I can guarantee to receive your blocks and being an former military wife... I am VERY organized... and they will get back out expeditiously...

Just a thought!

Cheers!

For all those still interested in continuing this swap:

I would like to know if anyone has sent in their blocks? If you have, did you hear back that they had been rec'd?

If you haven't, PLEASE DON'T MAIL THEM YET!!! I have contacted DJ and offered to help. There are alot of issues with the swaps DJ is hosting that are in progress and if you really want to be supportive to DJ one of the best ways would be to not put more pressure on her by insisting she continue with all the swaps after she has been asked not to participate in them any longer by Linda. This may sound harsh but believe me, it would be even worse if blocks are sent and no one gets the exchanged blocks they should. Think of what is best for the entire forum.

Alina, lets see how many want to continue and go from there. I agree that alot of time, effort and money has been invested already by several and it would be awful for them to miss out. Thanks for offering to take on this swap. If I hear from DJ I will update you all. Debi

Thanks Debi... all the info we can get would be great... trying to sift through all of the posts to get info has been difficult... I too had thought she was asked not to participate anymore and wasn't sure where that left ones in progress... do not believe anyone has sent in any blocks for this one yet... I hope! If not we can repost this in another swap discussion and let this one die out... that way we can control the correspondence on the swap... and everyone wanting to participate still can get the info... let me know what I can do...

Cheers!

I want to stay in, my blocks are done.
Like Alina, said I have invested time, effort and money. This is my first swap and I have really been looking forward to it.
Please let me know what is going on.

I am happy to hear that there may be some who want to continue. PLEASE don't mail off your blocks! We will try to get re-organized and then continue so no one misses out. Thanks for being so understanding and respectful of the difficult decision that was made by Linda. Have a great day, Debi
