I got my SP gift today from QuiltinKay! What a sweet lady! She sent some beautiful fabric and a quilt pattern for an awesome quilt with stars and a notebook for my purse.
Thank you so much Kay!!

sadiedaisy1 - Glad you liked the items. I have to say, a few of the ideas came from SP gifts I received. I ran out and bought some of the same things (especially the brown sugar bear - I had hard brown sugar when I went to put mine in my canister!)- A great idea! I pulled FQs from my stash that I have sorted and said "I probably won't use these," but knew others would appreciate them.

It's a little brown bear (made out of clay I think...they come in other shapes too) that you soak in water for 20 minutes and then put in your brown sugar so that your sugar doesn't harden. It's supposed to keep it soft for 3 months. You just resoak the bear again if it starts to get hard. I saw one once on a cooking show, but had never tried it before. The bear's at work now in my pantry. :)

What great fun! Cat and I go away for a week and come home to presents!!

This is RainbowKitty ~ Thanks so much to cindyg for the cute pink fabric, I wasn't sure what my mom meant when she said fairy frost was cute but she was right. I love it!! The wrist pin cushion might just help me keep all my pins from falling on the floor and I have already started to fill up the red snap box, it is just the right size for all the little stuff I have been getting. :) Cat

Butterfly, Thank you for the wonderful secret pal gift. It was such fun to open the package and find all the wonderful treasures. I love the embroidery transfers, the wizard of Oz fabric, both of the other fabrics are so pretty. I use so much floss and needles that I will use those very soon and the stickers are great. The most fun was watching my sweet pup Molly as she got to have her part of the package, she loves the dog toy from your sweet pup Misty. What fun!!

Happy stitching to all!!

Thank you to Wendy Heaslip in Australia for my SP gift. A stitchery set and a postcard of Tin Can Bay also a half yard of looks like a hand dyed fabric. Just love it.
On another note just mailed my SP gift today. Been busy with flu season at work, which is just now easing up, and a kitchen remodel.
Happy day everyone.
