Hi, Gals!

I've been unexpectedly out of commission since last Friday. Spent the whole holiday weekend feeling sick, and wondering what had hit me. I didn't feel like doing anything, even reading emails or watching TV. Found out yesterday that I have pneumonia, so now I'm on antibiotics and expect to be able to do normal things again soon. Sorry I haven't been responding to emails or personal messages. I promise to catch up as soon as I feel okay.

Thanks for the good wishes, my friends. I am being a good patient and doing just what the doctor said to do. Mostly, I'm resting. My hands have been busy though. I now have all the pieces for all of my appliques cut out! At least having to sit around all day resting has forced me to be still long enough to get that part done. Now I can start sewing!

Got my backgrounds all cut, calling them my baking pans, so now just have to put the cookies on and bake them........this is fun, still have to make a bit more dough for 13 more cookies........
