Re: Final Details for Autograph Quilt #2
I will try to get my sister, FlyingTexan, to sign up. She will be here to visit me August 3 through 7th. I know she doesn't know any of you but she knows me and by the end of the 5 days, she'll know all of you also. Plus, she just needs some motivation to get back to quilting. She's all by herself (with her DH, of course). She doesn't have a best friend close by her and she doesn't have any quilting friends close by her. LQS are kind of far away from her plus, she is a flight attendant and her schedule is different every month so it is hard to go to classes or guild meetings. I try to keep her motivated.
We are expecting a new 2nd cousin (?) well, my cousin is having a baby, not sure what relation the baby will be but we will be making a baby quilt together. We can work on the autograph quilt while she is here also.
I'll let you know. Is there a deadline?
Debbie

Debbie, that would be fantastic if you could get her to do this with us! And we would love having her name in our quilt. We are all Sisters in God eyes, so the more the merrier. Maybe we can help to motivate her too. I can see where her schedule would be hard to plan things with others. When she can, maybe she will come to the forum here and be with us. I think the deadline is around Sept. 27th???

Where abouts does FlyingTexan live? Maybe someone on this forum lives close to her and they could quilt together.
And don't say Texas and hand me my sign! LOL

AWWW Come on Q_florida. 5-10 blocks per weekend and you would have them knocked out. You can do that many in less than an hr after getting them cut out. Sure wish you would think on it really hard.

Sorry for the delay in answering. I have to fight 2 teenagers for computer time.
Leetec, I was laughing so hard when I ready your comments. How did you know FlyingTexan lives in Texas? Here's your sign! She lives in Bedford which is outside Dallas closer to Ft Worth. Last time I visited her, we visited all the LQS near her and OMG we still had to drive so far to get there.
Anyway, she will be here on Friday and I'll tell her all about it and all about yall! I'm going to drag her into helping me with all my projects I've volunteered for!
