Orion was really funny tonight. Had a ball at class. I like the quilts too--not sure if I'm going to do 3 blocks or 3 quilts!

Life is what happens while we're busy making other plans and quilting. This is certainly true for me. At my doctor's suggestion, I will be having heart surgery next week. I am fortunate to have an excellent staff at Quilt in a Day to carry on as I recuperate.

Orion will be doing the Block Party videos while she recuperates. He was great in Tuesday night's class, very funny and charming.

Katy and Sally...love your blocks...I've changed my color/ theme to gingerbread men/ women...I am going to get on it and do my cats in between...

Made my first Goose on the Pond today--boy, that took longer than anticipated! (I'm making 12 from a set of fat quarters in graduated blues) I clearly need to take my time when making those wee 9 patches!! I got in too much of a hurry and ended up doing a lot of unsewing and pinning (I almost never pin anything!) Lovely block when it's all together!

Yay!...She's home and doing well!...I am so thankful...this will be a lot more fun to work on now....better get going on it again...

Sally, I am sure your Goose in the Pond is Gorgeous!....I will be sure to take my time on those mini nine patches...
