Re: Secret Santa Reveal Day DEC. 10th
Fianlly got a chance to post
Thank you very much Donnacrazylady. I got home about 2 am on the 15th to a wonderful package from you. Everything is great.
I received:
A beautiful stoking made of candy cane materials.
Snowman refridgerator magnet to add to my collection.
Post card of Yosemite, I was able to visit the park years ago and am anxious to go again.
Note pad with pink flowers, never have enough note pads.
Two gorgeous fat quarters, purple and yellow.
A darling quilted christmas tree ornament and an angle ornament. I love angles on my tree.
A book of brain teasers for dummies that will come in very handy on trips.
Parcheesi quilt pattern. I have never seen the pattern before and am looking forward to making it.
Colors of Nature calendar with beautiful pictures.
Fresh cotton fragrance tart. I always have something fragrant in my sewing cabin while I am working out there so this will come in handy.
Fun and Easy Scap Quilting book. The patters are wonderful.
A pattern for a Floating Star Pillow Set. Boy am I going to be busy.
A box of Good and Plenty and a bag of kisses. Unfortunately the probably won't last very long.
To top it off is a great Survival kit in a quilted purse that includes the following note listing the items:
Penney for luck
Toothpick pick out the good qualities in others
Rubber Band be flexible, sometimes you may need to stretch
yourself beyond your limit
Sandpaper you have only scratched the surface of your
capabilities
Eraser everyone makes mistates
Marble when you feel like you've lost all yours
Cheweing Gum stick to it and you can accomplish almost anything
Bandage heal hurt feelings-yours or someone else's
Life Saver get involved-be a life saver for someone
Post-It Notes write it down to remember it
Safety Pin to hold things together
....And a Hog (picture of a pig) and a KISS (lips)
Use your little purse to keep those itty bitty things together
that get lost in your big purse
Thank you again Donna everything is just terrific

Life was busy and I didn't get to open my package until the 15th - and then my husband monopolized the computer so I couldn't post.
Thank you, Grammiequilts! Judi sent me a beautiful pastel felt stocking (decorated with jingle bells and an embroidered cuff!), fat quarters in blues, yellows, and pinks (which go perfectly with my stash); Egyptian cotton thread in pink, yellow, and green; a folding snowflake 'snowglobe' (really cool!); some lovely buttons, needles, a notepad, and a wooden plaque that says, "Old quilters never die, they just go batty!" Thank you so much! I am going to enjoy everything!!!

Beatr, I'm glad you liked your Secret Santa package. It might have arrived before your trip if I could have decided earlier which fabrics to use for your stocking. I narrowed it down to three choices, and kept changing my mind. The stocking was the last thing to be ready for your SS box.

Hi Anyone interested in seeing what Santa Pants and Elf pants are go to currentcatalog.com and put santapants in the search and they will come up... they are even on sale right now. There are six in a package and they are good quality for a treat holder. They also have them for leprachaun pants, bunny pants, uncle sam pants and scarecrow pants... I think the elf pants are the cutest because of the turned up shoes.

Re: Secret Santa Reveal Day DEC. 10th
Yay! My Secret Santa present finally came. For a while there, I thought I'd fallen off the 'nice' list! My SS was Lorraine, but she didn't give me her forum name, so I still don't know who she is. Perhaps she'll PM me and let me know?
Inside the box was the cutest little stocking - made of cat fabric, of course. And she included the rest of the fabric - along with 5 fat quarters of other fabrics (2 cat-themed!). Two Christsmas pot holders and a matching towel; 2 Dove Bars; a little angle pin, a needle keeper, 2 little holly appliques, needle threader, quilt marking pen, some keepsake pockets for scrapbooking, 3 jingle bells, a candle, and 3 candy canes. And a letter telling me about herself.
Thank you, Lorraine. It's all very nice. And yes, I did receive your teaser gift last month. I posted Hasn't this been great fun, Ladies! Merry Christmas!
Mary Z
P.S. I pm'd you, Lorraine.

My SS hasn't posted that she has received the package. I hope it didn't get lost in the snow someplace. I hope she get it soon. I don't want her to think that I forgot about her.
