Okay, cindyg, now I'm telling. I'm your Secret Santa. I guess your present will stay a secret a little longer. I keep checking the delivery confirmation and this is what is has said for a few days now:

Label/Receipt Number: 0308 2040 0000 9832 8629
Status: Processed

Your item was processed and left our TULSA, OK 74141 facility on December 10, 2008. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Uggggg! And it was sent on Dec. 5. I've never had a Priority Mail package take longer than four days to get delivered. I'm sorry it happened on your gift. If it doesn't arrive soon, I will send another package. Monday I'll check with the post office to see if they can track it somehow.

Merry belated Secret Santa surprise!

Oh my gosh, what a week... I have been totally wiped out by a relapse of that flu I had a few weeks ago and it was way worse the second time around... I did open my gift on the 10th and privately sent Coyotequilt (Sharon) in Arizona a private message of thanks... today I want to send her a public acknowledgement of thanks. We tried to get a picture up but so far we have been frustrated in the attempt... will try again later..
It turns out that she and I are members of the same church,,, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints...she paper pieced two of our temples Oakland and Nauvoo and made them into wall hangings.. they are gorgeous and the perfect colors for my living room ( blue and white), she also sent me covered hangers ( so now maybe I can keep my dresses from slipping off) , a purple boa ( so Now I can be an el's belle like everyone else, 2 really pretty fat quarters, one of those crocheted bags in red that you can slip over a paper bag so its easier to carry and a kitchen towel with gorgeous poinsettias that has the crocheted top where you can put it around a handle... As you can see Sharon really spoiled me ROTTEN... THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN SHARON FOR MAKING MY HORRID WEEK SO MUCH NICER and I will always treasure my temple wall hangings!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Beth, sorry to hear you are sick again. I started with it Friday afternoon and have been sick all weekend. I am going to try and go to work today as one of my assistants is in the hospital so that would leave the other by herself if I stay home. It is certainly going around here in CA. Take care of yourself.

Sorry I haven't been on the computer in a few days. In fact I didn't open my package until Friday. I do so want to thank my ss Quiltfan 50 - Linda for the most wonderful gifts. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. I received a kit - log cabin in a box - it is so cute, 30's prints fat qtrs., the little gripper - can't wait to try it, green tea, and a Jim Shore "baker" figurine - which I absolutely love - and I'd been wanting that one to place in my newly remodeled kitchen. It is just perfect. Thanks you Linda for everything.

Nancy-you are most welcome for your gifts. The two patterns are designs from a local girl - she has wonderful patterns - she also teaches at our shop - Quilted Memories - where the fat qtrs. came from

Can't wait to do this next year.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

CindyG you are the best :)) She sent me the cutest ?potholder but I have it hung on the wall & since it had a little pocket in the front stuck some candycanes in it. Also fabric for totebag & the pattern and in one of my favorite colors--shades of pink, Yeah. My DH saw me pull out the next gift & said "why did she send you a peice of pvc pipe on a ribbon?" Now I can keep my binding from rolling all over the floor. Thank you again cindy and for the letter you sent telling about yourself.
Oh and for the binding tool. I will be using that shortley.

Hugs

Grammy2 - I'm so glad your gift FINALLY got there. Also, I'm glad that you knew what the PVC on a ribbon is for - LOL. I forgot to put an explanation in there. I love that little tool and also the Fons and Porter binding tool. I got the tied-up fabrics at the Houston Quilt Festival. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Cindyg, your package is finally moving through the postal system again. Yea! It finally went from Oklahoma to Texas, although it took five days. :o( Maybe it will finally arrive in the next day or two, unless it needs another vacation during its 'priority' trip from CA to TX.
