Denise, I am sure all your blocks will be just wonderful.

Carol, thank you for the complements on my sample block. I did not use the pattern since I have made many crazy quilt blocks before and find it easier to just put together fabrics as I go along. The machine embroidery is great for those of us that don't do hand embroidery.LOL

I need an address, but I thought there were problems with e-mail. Is it clear to send and receive a PM now?
Mine are almost finished. Just a few more pieces to sew.
Thank you,
Cathy

Ann, Thank you. I haven't squared my blocks. I know many prefer to do it themselves. Hope it's ok.

Oh yes, I wanted to tell I love your sample block. It is so pretty, wish I have a sewing machine with all those stitches. Where have you taken your sample block pattern? It's so beautiful! :-)

Denise, I don't use a pattern for my blocks. I start with a piece of fabric that has an odd number of straight sides and then I go adding fabric around it. I have made so many crazy quilt blocks that I just make them up as I go along.

I should give it a try without a pattern. I wish I'll be able to do the same. Beside 2 little projects in crazy quilt, this was new to me. :-)

May be a little late...these take a bit longer than I anticipated, and would really like to add some machine embroidery. I will keep at it
(also finishing another swap) and hopefully get them to you by the 31st!!

I received abbigail's blocks today, they are very pretty. I thought it was fun to see some fabrics in her blocks that I have in my stash also.

Denise, I will let you know as soon as yours arrive.

My crazy quilt blocks are really "crazy" after looking at your pictures. I chose the color-way of gold, blue, black. The blocks are done and I'm just finishing up some embellishing. Hope everyone likes them as I've had a "blast" making them. Baring any unforeseen circumstances, they should be in the mail by the end of the month.
Even tho I'm using some unusual trims, you all can be assured that everything is washable. I checked before sewing anything on.
