WOW Marcia-what a nice ss you were. I received my package today and it was wonderful. I wish I knew how to do a picture here but I have tried many times and failed. Ladies I have the cutest gingerbread man stocking and a great book of quilting patterns - 1 block and your done - it is neat how you can enlarge a block and have it be a lap size quilt. I got my favorite - snickers hiding these from everyone including the dogs who like chocolate but can't have it. The pincushion will come in handy at the long arm frame.....I just love it all. Thank you Santa Marica - and have a Happy Holiday

Re: Secret Santa Reveal Day DEC. 10th
Marilynsgrammy was my SS! Sorry it has taken me so long to post.... we're in a construction zone at our house - we're putting in new hardwood floors and kitchen couter tops. It will be wonderful when it is done but oh the mess in the mean time! And my sister came for the weekend so it was really a challenge to put meals on the table without a kitchen sink!
So I opened my package last week while I was supposed to be getting the guest room ready - and didn't take the time to post!
Chriss sent me a adorable stocking with a snowman appliqued on it, a snippits bag/pin cushion to hang next to my sewing machine, a Christmas Card address book, a Christmas panel that I had never seen before (I think I am going to incorperate it into a Christmas quilt using my new Electric Quilt program) a Quilt Smart Double Wedding Ring panel (that I keep wanting to buy but haven't!) a bundle of fabric to add to my stash, a roll of Asian fabric to start my Asian stash and a new cookbook!
WOW Thank you Chris... I can't wait until my kitchen is back in order and the Holidays are finished and I can put these items to work! Actually the cookbook will get a workout cause my others are packed away at the moment!
Thanks Again!
Debby

Denise....glad you liked the gift sorry about the delay...partly mine...partly the snow..
Everyone I always associate the song in the card I sent Denise with her last name so when I open the card and it was playing "Deck the Halls" I had to buy it.
Denise...Chriss got the same cupcake potholder pattern Betsy and I both had to buy them for our SS and of course ourselves too. they are darling I have now made several for gifts!
ENJOY

Debby, glad you liked everything... good luck with that double wedding ring and that construction..
Denise... I am glad Carolyn made the cupcake pattern... I got the same pattern from my Secret Santa ( who happens to know Carolyn personally...lol) it's cool to see it in person.... can't wait to try it.

I would most definitely give Beth Street the "Secret Santa of the Year" award!!!! She was a top-notch Secret Santa! The fabrics you had selected for the stocking were rich and elegant. I loved, loved, loved the gingerbread kids printed panel. I do a Gingerbread theme every December with my second graders and I have plans to sew those panel blocks into a fun quilt to share in my classroom! Perfect fabric choice for me! I know the author to the quilt book "Seeing Stars" and I had not yet purchased that book (even though I have LOTS of her other patterns)! Again- a perfect choice for me! The "Mr. Snowman" pattern is darling! Should be easy enough to get one completed by next Christmas...if I just watch my time line! lol Thank you for the nifty "Table Runner in a Bag". Delightful fabrics and the blocks are already cut out...all I have to do is sew it up! I am an avid reader, so I will enjoy the book "Sew Far, So Good"! It is on my list of things to do over Christmas break!
Wow- I couldn't believe all the little stocking stuffers you had tucked inside: needles, thimbles, magnets, emery board, QIAD charm, tin of hot chocolate, notepads, note card set, and a "Sewing Santa" ornament! The little elf pants and Santa pants filled with treats were a yummy surprise! The nativity set is adorable! And that's not all, folks....Beth had also enclosed a QIAD gift certificate!!! Yep, she is definitely "Secret Santa of the Year" in MY book!
You are so kind and generous...and I am so lucky and appreciative.
A zillion hugs going out to you, Beth! -Marcia
"Edit oops"- I had wanted to wish you a blessed Christmas...and forgot!! So, here's wishing you a safe and joyous holiday (as well as a blessed Christmas!)

I'm glad you liked everything Marcia and I know you will love that book and want to read more of her stories!! Aren't those elf and santa pants a kick... I did them all up for the girls in my husbands office and he handed them out today and I guess they were a big HIT.. I got them from oriental trading company and then filled them with various goodies. Nativity scenes are my spending weakness, I love them and collect them... this year I found some really unique ones that I have to get up on my website but if anyone is interested you canfind them at sparklesgarden.com/nativitycollection.html
