Oh, my I surely hope the fabrics aren't put under the microscope! LOL Caroline, you are so right, this is FUN. I use fabrics from various places, I would rather have lots than 1 expensive piece. And what we're making isn't for judging, it's to enjoy.
BTW, I have a quilt on our bed that I made 25 years ago with fabrics from WalMart and from the LQS and it's still "going strong" except for the 2 blocks that go the sun got to. Unfortuanately for a while I didn't use it and left it in my car, so the blocks exposed to the sun were weakened and are now torn. I have no idea how to fix them, so. Point being, use what you have, have fun doing it, we all love whatever we get because our wonderful friends have made it. Love ya all, HUGS, carol/kittyquilt
