Chriss your blocks did get here. I added one to the layout. Oops, 2 pinwheels backwards.

So this block was a bit of a challenge but I think there is always something to be learned. So I think this month we learned orientation of our block pieces can be important 🤔 at times. Practice makes perfect and I consider Lotto a good time to practice. Good job everyone. It's not about perfection but the willingness to spread those wings and try. And you all succeeded in doing that! :D

Valerie, don't bother with my blocks where the pinwheels were wrong. Just give me one entry into the Jan lotto. Really, you have way too much going on to mess with my mistake.

I did look at those blocks multiple times and guess I should have taken a picture with my phone before sending them off. But please, don't mess with them. I'm good with one entry this month.

Katy your 2 blocks are here! They are wonderful. I just realized it is almost picking day. Where has this month gone?

We have enough blocks for the whole quilt! Great job ladies.

Valerie, my head is spinning. I can't picture how the pinwheel would be wrong. Is it wrong because of how it was sewn together before I cut up the original block or is it wrong because of how I sewed the pieces together afterwards.

My mind keeps seeing you turn that pinwheel but the end results would always be the same. I am dumbfounded, yes again. My head cant grasp it.

Chriss, it took me a bit to get it. Just depends on which way it is spinning.

Top photo is how it was sewn together. Bottom photo is how it is supposed to be. This is just one of those patterns then orientation makes a difference. I don't remember whose this was, just the first one I pulled out of the bag. I am at the hospital so can't press it. Just unsewing here
