Re: Secret Santa Count Down
Oh, my goodness, my DH does NOT believe that I got 2 boxes today and I have not opened them!!!!!!!!!!! Funny thing, they are from a Secret Santa with MY address!!!!!!! My Secret Santa is really tricky, not even a hint of who it is!!!!!!!!!
And I have to work on Wednesday, so won't be able to open until afternoon........but, thank you in advance, Secret Santa.

Re: Secret Santa Count Down
I hate to admit it, but I was five days late mailing my package.
( The tracking on the delivery confirmation says it was processed in Tulsa on Dec. 8. (I thought it would be delivered by today. Guess not.) That's not its final destination, so I hope the person who is supposed to receive it will find it on her doorstep tomorrow.
I received my own Secret Santa package a few days ago. <BIG SMILE> (I haven't been online for several days so I hope my Santa wasn't too worried.) I have a white box with a hand-drawn Santa in red on the top. I'm being a good girl so far. The name on the box is not familiar, and the postmark says Montana. But the package my SS sent at Thanksgiving came from Washington, so I am really CONFUSED. As curious as I am, I almost think that Dec. 10 is too early to open my box - especially since it is the only one under our tree right now.
An early thank you!!! to my very secretive and tricky Secret Santa. :^)

Hey Donna,
We don't even have a tree yet, I left mine on the kitchen table just to drive my son nuts. He always wants to open my packages, and with Christmas we order a lot of stuff. He keeps thinking it is going to be something for him, little does he know they were shipped to my neighbor. So he is really chomping at the bit and it will drive him nuts that I will be doing this after he leaves for school on Weds.
I actually have several quilty projects I am going to work on this Weds. I am having surgery this coming Tuesday so I will be out of commission and need to get a lot done before then. I am thinking I might try to 'bribe' myself into getting more done by not letting myself open until I finish some of my projects.

I woke up this a.m. and realized it was TUESDAY. So only one more day to wait! My package is sitting in my sewing room staring at me. The package I sent has been received too. So now I just have to keep busy for 24 more hours!! Yikes.

Even though my Christmas tree is up in all it's splendor, I have my Secret Santa gift sitting on my sewing table- still in its "Priority Mail' box as I patiently wait for tomorrow! However, last night while I was sewing I got a whiff of a very lovely fragrance...and it was coming from that priority mail box that "I" sent myself!! (My tricky Secret Santa put MY name in the return address!!!!) Oh, I am getting soooooooooooooo excited for opening day! :^)

My pkg. is sitting staring at me with it's warning of "open Dec. 10th" on it, and I've been very good. I know who sent it to me and that's all I know. And the pkg. I sent out has been received already, too.
I'm telling you maryq, I'm going by MY time zone....one minute or maybe even less, past midnight and that baby is getting unwrapped at WARP SPEED WITH MUCH GUSTO!!! LOL! You ain't the boss of me because you're too far away to do anything about it! ROFLOL! I'm so excited!
