going to wash the jar fabric today:) and will post a block later. :)
Got all my first parts pinned last night and will sew them and then pin next parts:) that makes it go a lot quicker in sewing. Lots of pinning to be done:)

I forgot to post the split star photo. What do you think? Mine would be with blue stars on one side & red stars on the other side.

I'm loving the blocks posted. IZZY - you rock, girl! Curved piecing! Cindy G has a special foot that does curved piecing without pinning. She loves it. BEV - I like your split star - very patriotic looking!

Here is my block. It is a modification (easier) of the bars and stars. I tried making all the teeny tiny little stars in the original pattern and I didn't like it. Too tedious! So this is what I came up with to make it work. I still have a bit of tweaking but I think I will work it out.
