WOO HOO!!! I received my secret pal package today! Mary Q was my secret pal and she spoiled me rotten!! I LOVE EVERYTHING!!
She made me a fabulous lodge tote. It is so dang cute!! I don't have a bag or purse of any kind of lodge look and I am so excited to have one now. How great! She also made me 4 lodge coasters, (my husband snagged his choice first and said "MINE!". LOL. She also sent me some great lodge fabrics, a moda charm pack of old glory gatherings, and a set of lodge charms, and a piece of batting. I am so excited with all the choices, I don't know what to make first. She also sent me a little ruler, and sticky note booklet and the cutest moose magnet that has legs and arms that are magnetic, that you can position different ways. HOW CUTE!!!! Just to let you all know, I know that my surprise package has arrived at my post office, but I have to wait until Monday to pick it up and get all my surprises. LOL

It was after noon when we were able to go to post office to check on our mail. A little card in our box tells me to go to the "window" to pick up a package. So whoever my pal is, I will report further on Monday. But at least you will know that it got here to Shelbyville safe and sound.

Can't wait now to get my package. Just like a little kid waiting for Christmas and Birthday. Thanks in advance.

Just to let everyone know - I'm out of here tomorrow morning for a week so we won't be getting our mail until Monday, 24th. So if my SP sent me something - and I don't respond, that's why. I'll have internet in OR, but not my mail.

What a FUN day for me today!

I got a package in the mail all the way from Quebec! You guessed it Denise Is my SP ! Oh what a joy to open such a pretty package!
Here's a picture, tho it doesn't do it justice.

Inside was a beautiful pieces of blue fabric--and it just so happens I have a matching piece to it! A beautiful HAND MADE mug rug, way to pretty to use and risk getting it dirty.. a perfect little HAND MADE needle case with a darling little scissor...and just look at all those FQ'S! Two patterns...one all applique--oh will I ever be brave enough to try it! and darling little wood tubes for carrying needles! I think I should take one to work somebody is always asking me to sew to sew on a button!

Scrappy Pat was my secret pal and I received an amazing package from her today……
There were 4 magazines that I don’t already have.. a pile of scrap fabric for my hexi’s… she sent 4 different sized packages of applique needles, a leather thimble that will get a ton of use….. a pack of charm squares … these are just beautiful happy colors….
A crocheted doily, a card with needles inside…a package of applique pins.. that I don’t have…

an adorable hexi ornament that I am going to hang in my sewing room with other treasures people have given me… one of those wooden needle holders.. almost bought one once…. A quilters brag book to put pictures of your quilts and notes about them in… a spiral note book, and 4 patterns.. a table runner, a hexi table topper, a pattern with swimsuits, and one with a lady looking into the forest.. I have always wanted to try a pattern like that…
and the most beautiful grandmothers flower garden quilt top that just has me stunned.. it is so beautiful.. and I am going to finish it and it will be my new recliner quilt…
I am still stunned, it is all so overwhelming.. thank you so so much Pat.. I am out of words… you have bowled me over.. thank you….
