Your suggestions about the measurements will help a lot! I'm planning to do lots of work on my blocks in the next couple of weeks. I appreciate knowing that there are experienced quilters out there to send words of advice when I need them.

Caroline...that cup is darling!!! I just finished pressing my freshly washed background fabric and will get it cut. This will be a darling project.

I thought maybe I should give a progress report. I have the background of the block sewn together and will be working on the saucers this week.

I looked carefully at the pattern and which side to sew the long medium brown piece before sewing. I was very glad I made sure before sewing knowing me I would have sewn it to the wrong side! LOL

The blocks posted are so very pretty! I just hope I do as well!

Just a progress report. One block down, eleven to go! However, all pieces are cut and ready to assemble. It should go quickly from here on out, and I'm pretty tickled about the way the first one looks. The cup handle is a doozie to manage though!

I'm looking forward to October, because I think this is a great deal of fun. I also love opening up a surprise package!
