Evie and Littlebit. . .

Your blocks are really nice. Such nice points on all of them. Evie I like the middle one (Batik) best. I saw this done on Simply Quilts a while ago and was a little intimidated so haven't tried it yet. But I agree it would make a darling quilt for a little girl.

Evie, even though I'm a batiks lover, I like the Thimbleberries the best. Oh, goooooooooooosh, I'm so behind. I'll start on Turkey Tracks tonight and work on both blocks this weekend. Can y'all lay your blocks together and take a picture & post it? I think it would be interesting so see how everyone's is coming together as we go along

Well, I screwed up my Rosebud block. The middle looks terrible. I don't know what I did. I may have to make another one but for now it will have to do. I'm just so mad at myself. My Turkey Tracks looks fine and it was harder.

Cindyg, sometimes I think the fabric takes on a life of its own and does what it wants rather than what we want it to do. Just sit it aside for a couple of weeks and then try different fabric. When I did the Turkey Tracks, the first one came out great the second one gave me fits and just would not do what it was suppose to do! I still need to make a third one but am just a little bit intimidated now.

Cindy - when I made my rosebud block ther center was all messed up too! I just ripped it out and moved the blocks to different position and they lined up better, why?? I don't know :)

I posted all four of my BOM in the photo section. I have not finished all my Christmas blocks so I did not post those, but I will get them done eventually. I may just use these to add to the Christmas Block Swap to make a larger quilt.
