Need a little help please!

I do have the Egg Money book... some where.
I found perfect fabric and watched most of the video, but I need to know how to cut the pieces.

I have El's triangle rulers, so cutting those are done, but the little pieces that make the star points.... are those 6x3 rectangles cut on diagonal? Is the center block 4.5"? I know the 4 patch is 2.5", and the HST should finish at 4.5"

Just need to check my measurements.

Hi Mary
Yes the rectangles are 3x6. Fabric wrong sides together. Lay both rectangles next to each other and cut from lower right to upper left on both.

Center block is 4.5" cut
4-patch is 4.5" unfinished
HST is 4.5" unfinished

Square up all sections to 4.5" before piecing them into a block. DO NOT UNDERCUT. There is no wiggle room so watch the 1/4" seam allowance. It might need some tweeking here.
