I almost forgot! My first best friend that I remember was when I was still in Germany. Her parents were our landlord and we lived above her. Her name was Rosie. (I am sure her german name was something else and Rosie what we called her). I was too young to go to American Kindergarten so I got to go with Rosie to the German school. Run by nuns. 8 - 4 during the week and 8 - 12 on Saturday. I still have what is left of a little tiny village we were given as a gift for singing in the Christmas show at school. That was about 57 yrs ago! The song we sang was Kling Glocken or Ring Little Bell. My Dad used to play it for me every Christmas and then ask me if I remembered it. He has since moved to Washington with the youngest child so he doesn't play it for me anymore. I should find it on You Tube and play it for myself.

Valerie - Your fabrics look even more festive now that they are in your blocks. I would LOVE IT if you were able to find the song and post it here. We would be able to share in the tiny part of your life so many years ago. How blessed you are to be able to remember it through your dad.

WOW Valerie!!!! I knew this block would be easy but you are really quick. Looks like I had the perfect timing for you to stitch up some block and we haven't even reached NOVEMBER!!!

Just got word from Katy that with her help, Shirley was able to sign up as a Member of QIAD as BeHappy83 - WELCOME SHIRLEY!!!! For me I am blessed to have Rob be my GoTo guy for my computer. If it weren't for him I would not have one. So many glitches here and there that he fixes. I am thrilled that Katy is your bestest friend and was able to help you become a member and now enjoy the FUN!!!
