I love the pictures you posted, Teresa. That reminds me that I found a pretty gold and bright green to add to my November blocks when I get set up in Texas and can begin to work on my blocks.
We are here at our son's house near La Salle-Peru, so I popped into Hobby Lobby and they had a sale of 30% off and that's were I found my two pieces. I just bought a 1/4 yd of each and it came to 2.50 I think. They should go very well with the fabrics I have left from Oct Lotto.
Beautiful pics and of course the church is my fav:) I have not had any sewing time but will hopefully get some toward end of week since rain in forcast.
I LOVE FALL COLORS and everything that goes with Fall. Harvest time Pumpkins and Apples Picking. Yummy Cidar, Baking pies and logs, Turkey's and the Plum Pudding my Uncle always made and then lite up just before slicing. Cinnamon smells so much better in the fall. Jumping in the leaves and so much more.
The most important though is getting together with family and friends and being more Thankful for all the gifts and blessings the Lord has given you and recounting the ways you blessed others over the year.
The Church picture is my favorite but I also love seeing the purple shades in the other pictures. Glad you all are enjoying them. I have my
leaf blocks finished but still need to get the strips on. Will do that tomorrow over at Jamie's when we meet for our Thursday sewing Pal time.
It's driving me crazy not to get my sewing machine back out and stitch up a few blocks. This is a great pattern. Can't wait to get moved and set up, so I can work on my blocks.
I will have more than enough time, I know, but just getting excited about cutting into the fabrics and stitching them up.
We will arrive at our destination on Nov. 5, so I will have plenty of time. I just need to be patient and I will have my fun, too. LOL
Such a pretty block! I just finished 4 blocks for this lotto. In the process of making up a lap size quilt with a few extra blocks. Teresa, I will let you know when I mail them.
