I would like to join this month. I will be sending the same grouping as Teresa has after her name. Since my applique isn't up to par (yet), my 6.5 blocks will be paper pieced.
Have Fun,

Welcome Linda!!
Any combination of blocks you make i am sure will be delightful! Curious I am - What kind of machine do you have?? I have a Janome 6600. I use Mode 2, #38 or #36, 2.0-2.0
I know your applique will be great after you practice more and more and we well be ready to see it when you are.

Hi gals! Still not ready to sew, but hoping for August. Going to NJ next week to see family. Sewing room unpacked, but sewing machine table is being refinished.

If you all visit "Sew In" you will see that I found the neatest little rural community quilt and craft shop.
Found some unusual tone on tone white/off white fabric. The little design within, looks kinda like a little tiny toy train. Thought that would look neat as a background fabric for my Christmas in July blocks. Still have not decided on my final choice yet. Got a few ideas floating around in my head. This is so fun!!
I need to hop to it, though, or the time will slip away on me. LOL

With a little bit of luck.... I may be able to do a little stash diving for Christmas fabric this weekend. But you know how the best laid plans often go!

Oh my, I just saw the 6.5 blocks are a combination of 4. I just spent 5 hours making 2! They are too involved to make 2 more. Will move onto plan B.
I also have a 12.5 done.

I did one 12.5 inch, 2 of the 6.5 and one of the rectangle. But now I see that I need 2 more of the 6.5 and one more rectangle. They will be a bit different, but I hope that will be OK.
