Re: International Sun Bonnet Sue swap, CLOSED
Sorry tina I have to sit this one out too many things going at the same time.
I know I'm going to regret this but I just can't fit it in and I have the book and saw how cute they all are.
Lois.

Tina, I love your Italian SBS. She is so beautiful. Thank you for inviting me to join your swap. This will be fun.
It had been hard to choose between all the SBS. I would have loved to make the one from Canada, but there are too many pieces. So I choose Vietnam. I have all my pieces and background cut and ready. Here is a sampler of my block. Hope you'll like her.

Oh my Gosh, Denise she is SO CUTE! Your reason for not doing Canada was the same reason I did not take Germany...though I love it..
...since Swiss/ German is part of my heritage ...the Switzerland looked easier..I love her..
Thank you, Tina...for not allowing invisible thread...I know the newer ones are better...but I have never really liked it...
Just my preference...
I have been practicing, practicing, practicing and am excited about doing my Gal...
Chiss and Lois...I am planning to do one maybe every other day...spreading it out...I really hope you both change your mind...I love both your work and know your Sues would be sweet..
Getting my fabric together...
Sonya

TINA and DENISE - your Sues are adorable!
Tina, thanks for changing the name of my block. Since I don't have my book with me, I didn't know if there were two blocks - USA West AND Native American - or if we were talking two names for the same Sue. I didn't want any confusion which might mess up someone else's choice. Thanks!

Denise, she is beautiful!!! Tina, I want a gelatto!!! So cute!!! This will be such a stunning quilt! I picked Japan because my dad used to send us Japanese dolls from our travels. My DD still has mine... almost 70 years old! The quilt block reminds me of the dolls. My DD is excited about this quilt and has already said "Mine!" She saw my pattern pinned to my design wall. I washed my background fabric today.
