OK folks ....here are my Weeks 9-12 blocks. The colors look washed out in this photo but they are actually quite bright. Notice I did not applique the HoneyBee block (but I do have honeybee fabric!!!!) Happy Easter everyone!Image

I do not have either book, but I will probably just do the LUBA blocks when you and some of the others replace them. Sound like a couple of the blocks will be a challenge.
Have my oldest grandson here from S.C. And we are on our way to the Grand Canyon in the RV for a few days. But I will be working on the honeybee appliqué. HappyEaster to all.

Well, I finished up the two easy blocks and have the pieces cut for the other one. I sewed some of the units together and it just isn't working. Can I just say......I don't like Abigail or her stupid swing! LOL

I am sitting here at work playing with the templates trying to get a visual. I will rip out the units and re-sew them tonight. I guess the key is to just draw the sewing lines on the fabric and sew from point to point. I should have known better than to line up the triangles with the end points matching...they need to be off-set so the quarter-inch marks will line up! Man, Eleanor sure could have made this so much easier!

I will post a pic when I have finished up with Abigail and her silly swing!
