The answer about stash fabric is this, I bought the black background fabric. I had been buying brights for a while for another quilt I was planning to make. So no I didn't buy them for this quilt and I have not bought any for this quilt....yet :-)
As for the other quilt, well, it may someday get made, it may not, so use what you have for now. If the other quilt does come into play then, I get to go buy fabric for it!

P.S. I never would have started this quilt had I really looked at the patterns, too many Y-seams and curves! I think with those drunkers paths, I will applique circles and cut them in forths. I will just have to figure how big to make the circles!

Vicky, your blocks are a work of art! You'd never guess you had trouble with any seams... Hang in there. I hope you show this quilt when it's finished... ribbons!!!

I hear that Vicky; they have been a challenge. But I have enjoyed sharpening up my skills and learning some new ones. I am really out of my comfort zone here but I think it will make me relook at some patterns I have passed on before and try them now:)

I do love your fabrics and just think a future shopping spree stands in the wings:) Gotta love that too:)

Hopefully my blocks will show up. I got behind when we are on vacation so have really had to scramble to catch up! As you can see, my blocks are really scrappy. So far I am meeting my goal of not buying any fabric for them.

Susie, your blocks are great!!! Your quilt is going to be very special. I LOVE scrappy---that's about all I have made for years. I have quilted close to 40 years and finally decided to use up ALL my scraps. Needless to say, that's nearly impossible...

Looking good Izzy! I know what you mean about using up the stash! Ha...these pieces are so small I haven't even made a dent in my scrap pile!

Izzy, your blocks are beautiful and your quilt is going to be very special. I have some of the same fabrics in my stash.
