Redtop I hear ya on that. I have so many scraps and they are of every and all colors. I cant wait to see what happens LOL I have a cream/off white bunch of scraps and may use as background but not sure. Its going to be fun playing with the fabric :))

i already have the book...i pulled it out last night to look at it. i wonder if i could carve out the time and keep up w the group. might be just the 'therapy' i need! marcia

Marcia these 6-inch blocks don't take much time to piece. Besides you will end up with a beautiful quilt!!! I think these small blocks would be perfect for a hand pieced project. I've been thinking about cutting out some of the blocks to hand piece when away from home. Please join us......

I hadnt thought of hand piecing but you are so right. I think I will definitely do a few like that as well. I could use a break at work and sew a few min here and there:)) Gread idea:)

Oh, I thought I had signed up! I may have trouble keeping up but will try. We are going on a vacation shortly after this starts up but I do want to try! May have to play catch up! Scrappy with no buying of fabric...using only what I have.

I'll see how i get on... This might help me get back into sewing... I could cut out the blocks on a weekend and try hand piecing them in the car (inbetween clients) rather than playing 'spider solitaire' on my iphone lol...

Yes, I agree the waiting is getting hard. Had a good laugh. Although gardening chores aren't completed, I would enjoy sewing again. Sept.1st is coming fast tho.
