I do have this book ) found it used awhile back, I don't mind used El's books at all LOL I will see if I can do this one ) The picture of that quilt up top you posted is beautiful! Teresa, put me down for four blocks. If there's time, maybe I'll do more. Also, an extra 4" square of fabrics used is a good idea. Be nice to have an appliqued border from fabrics to match the blocks!

YEA - we have a great group going with some very FABulous Poetry!!!!

I keep looking at the way this quilt is put together and I think it will be easier to send SETS OF 4 BLOCKS for the WINNERS to organize however they want when they make the quilt. ADD 1 label to each set you send. DO NOT SQUARE THEM UP but please measure to make sure it will measure a 6.5"+ block.

If you have already made the block feel free to send it. Do not take it apart.

Yes, Teresa, I am in on this one. I have the underground railroad book so I will use that pattern. I plan on pulling my fabrics tomorrow and then I can sew (and race) next week and get these and the September blocks in the mail by Friday. Ok, now I have made a plan and someone is bound to screw it up! Such is life. I "plan" on making 4 sets but who knows.
