What fun this is!!! I know Mamie Eisenhower was CRAZY about the color pink. She wanted to paint everything in the White House including the outside of it pink. It's no wonder Jacquie Kennedy wanted (needed) to totally redecorate the White House!
I also know that many times when the Presidents were moving into the White House through the front door, the outgoing Presidents were moving out the back door at the same time.

Did anyone see where they found a letter from Martha Washington in a file cabinet in a museum? A gal was cleaning out the cabinet and found it laying in the bottom of a drawer. It apparently had fallen out of a folder. I don't remember if it was Kansas or Nebraska that has it. Isn't that something?
