Secret Santa Wish List, aka "A Letter to Santa"

Dear (Secret) Santa,
In case you're having difficulty selecting what to bring me, here's some help. P.S. I've been REALLY, REALLY good this years. I know your budget is small and crunched, so I won't list the "biggies".

1. Would love to have: A mid-arm quilting machine, a lot more time.

2. Books or authors I like to read: Many books and authors but I would like to read those books that Georgiapeach likes and I have none by Chiaverini (sp?).

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: Locker hooking, shopping with my BFF, camping, boating, fishing, and visiting with my sisters on this forum.

4. My favorite sport(s) and teams: Houston Astros

5. My favorite type of music: Anything but hard rock and rap. Basically anything where I can understand the words - LOL. I guess I'm getting old.

6. My favorite singers: Too various and too many to list. I love Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (on the Gaithers) and I don't have any of their CD's yet.

7. My favorite TV show(s): Boston Legal, Gray's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, anything quilty.

8. When I'm bored, I: I'm very seldom bored.

9. I would love to visit/travel to: Germany, Wachington DC

10. Miscellaneous: A subscription to every quilt magazine available, any of El's/QIAD books that I don't already have, and did I mention I would like a mid-arm quilting machine?

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: Cub Scouts (if thats a hobby), scrapbooking, stamping cards, reading, etc.

4. My favorite sport(s) and teams: Minnesota Twins and Gopher Football

5. My favorite type of music: Any really, except hip-hop. Listen to a lot of 80's and Country.

6. My favorite singers: Sawyer Brown, Tim McGraw, Harry Connick, Jr.

7. My favorite TV show(s): ER, Lost, Friends

8. When I'm bored, I: read, quilt, scrapbook, take a nap

9. I would love to visit/travel to: London, Australia

10. Miscellaneous: I'm pretty easy to please. I have only begun quiliting so I do not have much of a stash, I'd take additions to it too...thanks.

2. Books or authors I like to read: I like quilt magazines, used ones are great... quilt pattern books... used is perfect.... I have read the Chiviraini books and a few others... I do enjoy the ones that are quilt related... but not any romance mushy stuff...

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: ... don't have many hobbies.... I do some family history stuff and that's about it... .

4. My favorite sport(s) and teams: whoever is winning.lol.. DH watches sports and I sew on the weekends....

5. My favorite type of music:Country music... or the oldies ( 70's and 80's)

6. My favorite singers:I like the older ones... Merle Haggard, Bee Gees... etc.

7. My favorite TV show(s):Don't watch much tv unless there is a movie on... I do watch Survivor.

8. When I'm bored, I: look at magazines, read, look through quilt patterns.

9. I would love to visit/travel to: the eastern US where the history is....

10. Miscellaneous:I will be thrilled with anything... I love quilting and quilt related things.... used or new I am happy....

8. When I'm bored, I: Watch TV, Eat Snacks

9. I would love to visit/travel to: the U.S. I haven't seen much of it. I would also like to take a train ride in Canada Mountains and stay in a lodge

10. Miscellaneous: I really love the outdoors. I go to the family cabin as often as I can. I love lodge look anything. I hope to someday live in a log home. I decorate with lodge look, even though I now live in an apt.

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: I'm supposed to have one? Seriously, I quilt and I read (or listen to books on CD).

4. My favorite sport(s) and teams: Isn't the sport played with a brown pointy ball football? And there's another sport played with a pumpkin....

5. My favorite type of music: I listen to just about anything since DH is a instrumental music teacher

6. My favorite singers: I'm afraid I don't listen to anything close enough to pay attention. Although I do like Rod Stewart's American Song book.

7. My favorite TV show(s): I tend to watch a lot of Law and Order, haven't found much else on TV worth watching.

8. When I'm bored, I: will clean house -- I don't get bored often.

3. My hobbies, besides quilting: reading, gardening(I love sunflowers)

5. My favorite type of music: Mostly listen to my children playing their various instruments, Contemporary Christian Music, some classical

6. My favorite singers: none

7. My favorite TV show(s):don't watch TV/ Do watch selected movies, my favorites are Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

8. When I'm bored, I: read, take a walk, talk on the phone to my far away friends and family.

9. I would love to visit/travel to: Australia (I will never get there but it's nice to dream)

10. Miscellaneous: I'm very easy to please. I love looking through quilting magazines, I spend FAR to much time on the computer looking at quilt patterns. I love dark chocolate. My favorite quilt pattern I have never made is the Pineapple- it's on the list right after a Shakespeare in the Park.

10. Miscellaneous: I love roses and lilacs. We adopted retired ex racing greyhounds and we have a basset hound. We love Christmas and are Christmasholics. We put up 16 trees every year each with their own theme.

5. My favorite type of music:I am a christmas carol fanatic, but I like the softer music -- some call it elavator music, also love spiritual music that reaches into my spirit.

7. My favorite TV show(s):extremem makeover home edition, project runway, ER, top chef, dancing with the stars

8. When I'm bored, I:nap or read

9. I would love to visit/travel to:Scotland land of my ancestors

10. Miscellaneous: I collect nativities from around the world.. I like snowmen and I have learned a lot in the one year I have been quilting so I can only imagine what is ahead of me.. Thank you for what ever you send Santa.. Another idea for me might be a simple quilt magazine used is fine.
