Re: swap idea
Sharon/Coyote, don't sweat it, I generally don't buy fabric at quilt shops. There are good quality fabrics to be found at all sorts of places; you just need to know what to look for.
So no, I'm not planning any fabric restrictions, other than to wash them first to prevent any shrinking or color bleeding.
I'm glad to see there is some interest in this. I have never hosted a swap and I think this will be fun...!

Re: swap idea
Glad to hear there are no fabric restrictions. I am not big on limiting where I buy from as long as it is a good quality fabric. I hope that this swap is on because it sounds as if it will be lots of fun. Who knows I might end up with something I never would have dreamed of trying.LOL

Re: swap idea
Loretta, you are on my list! But in a good way...
Ann/SewSew, I added you the first day, just so ya know.
I think the only "restrictions" will be the usual: 100% cottons only, pre-washed, good quality...no blocks made from burlap, please! lol
I am so tickled that others are interested, it's pathetic! I must not get out enough!

Back to top so y'all know I was serious about this...lol!
As eager as I am, though, I really can't start this until January; I have too much going on before then. I am keeping a list of those who are interested....on PAPER....so it won't disappear.

Teacups, <SNORT!>
We could start a charity fund for you so you can replace all your burlap with some better quality fabrics...or you can do a burlap swap here at the QIAD forum...
Sooooo, ya got any orphan blocks you want to unload?
