Re: Christmas In July - Row by Row. CLOSED.
I was looking at some tiny white snowmen on both red and green backgrounds today and almost bought some to use in my pinwheels, but thought I'd better ask first.
Are you looking for Christmas-y fabrics with Christmas designs that appear mostly red or green, or more of the blender/tone-on-tone type fabrics. I wasn't sure whether to look at actual Christmas material, or just TOT. (And... cutesy or elegant or just 'holiday' stuff?)
Also, do you want all of our blocks to look basically the same, or do you want variety for the row? When you say 'scrappy' I think of the blocks not all matching exactly. In other words, should I plan for each pinwheel block to use four matching reds and four matching greens, or can I mix and match my reds and greens?
I just thought I should ask to make sure I'm on the 'same page' with everyone. Thanks.
Donna
P.S. Where do you find these cute quilts?

Quilt patterns come off the EQ6 program. You may use Christmas fabric as long as it reads those colors. Scrappy - mix and match - this is your design.
Gotcha Beth.

Alright, I am an idiot! Sign me up for the first group - The Dutchman's Puzzle. I should be able to do this fairly easily!

I will use the pattern that is on EQ6. I can make it the size I need. Do you want me to leave the paper on when I paper piece the blocks?

Denise - either way but it might be cheaper in postage if you take it off.
