I'm really debating this one! I'd love to do it, you know me and butterflies, but I still have the RRs I'm doing and I haven't even started my mystery blocks that are due in early June. Plus getting ready for graduation and moving.... I'm really torn. If I can get the Mystery Blocks done by the end of May I will sign up for this if there is still a space open.

I'm hoping to get at least 3 more to signup. And we can also push back the dates to June 15, July 15 and August 15. I found some butterfly material for the traditional quilt block portion of the swap.

I'm still thinking on this one-- I've got several butterfly patterns that I'm considering, but I need to make sure I can deliver before I commit! I'm in quite a few other swaps, but they aren't due until later, so maybe... I'll try to decide soon and let you know.

Thanks! I *really* love this sampler idea. The blocks using "butterfly" fabric with traditional block designs to complement the butterfly blocks will make such an interesting quilt!!!

I'll probably do it--- because, from past experience, every time I resist and *don't* sign up to a swap that appeals to me, I end up regretting it after the swap fills up--- example: Brown/Blue Civil War Sampler, Red/White/Blue Summer Sampler...

But let me make sure, first.....

Good thing you decided not to wait and got in on the 30s Sampler. Then talked your sister Cathy into joining. Give you a heads up June 1 a Fall Sampler will be announced (10 participants). It is not due until, I believe August 15th. Giving everyone a chance to get it put together and quilted for the Autumn season. And make sure you keep your sister abreast of Christmas in July.

I'm going to pickup my batiks tonight for my butterflies. Let's just make 6 just in case we don't get anymore takers. I'm going to make 2 different ones. Also, I have my fabric already for my traditional block for the next round - I'm either going to do Hole in the Barn Door because that gives me a 6 1/2" center for focus fabric or Morning Star which gives you a 8 1/2" square for focus fabric.
