I have 1 daughter who gave me two DGSs (Joshua-Tyler 5 and Michael Christian 1 1/2). She and I are "boy" people so I don't see a granddaughter in the future. Besides, she said she is done. That's fine - the boys wear poor Mimi out. LOL.

Hi Sarah - CW is short for Civil War fabrics.

Sarah and Pam - I just checked Els store and she isn't carrying any. That would have been easy. Here are some other places to try for either Blue, Brown or the cream.

www.keepsakequilting.com
www.civilwarfabrics.com
www.reproductionfabrics.com
ebay - very good prices

Sorry Pam I forgot to answer you - no the cream doesn't have to be solid. I'm using a TOT.

I also love CW fabrics and have an extensive collection. Plenty of blues and browns. Definitely want in on this one. I can do any of the blocks, so just give me one of them. Level of difficulty is no problem, so I can do an intermediate or advanced block. Susan

I don't know if I inserted the link correctly or not. Anyway, I just ordered my fabric from this site. Using Mary's Favorite Blues 1810-1890. Beautiful fabric!!!! Plus, I have a huge stash of CW. They are my very favorite.

Another type of border - I like the other one it has more of an old fashioned feel to it. This to me is more modern.
